'GUTS' Guts...... :-GuTs>$ GutS'''''

Got guts?

Have u ever been in a situation where you wanted to do something badly and you just didn't have the guts to go for it? Have u ever wanted to ask someone e.g. your parents for something but you were afraid of being rejected? Have you ever wanted to join a group like a sports team, a choir or any public groups but you just didn't have the guts to go out there and join?

Do u have the guts to do that one thing you ever really yearned to do? Do you have the guts to walk up to that girl or boy that you like and tell them that you like them? Do you have guts to walk infront of an audience to pick up something, talk to someone infront or to address the audience?

Do you have the guts to stand up to the bully or someone whose teasing you? Do you have the guts to stand up to someone who's trying to walk over you? Do you have the guts to turn your friends down when you don't feel like it? Do you have the guts to fight for your what you really want? Do you have the guts to fight for your loved ones, your dream career, your wishes and desires?

To have guts is nessesary in life.... It is one of those tools that one need to get through some stages of life and to help with our personal development and growth. Sometimes guts are all we need to survive or even better thrive! Guts can help us stand and fight for what we believe in. That means if you shy away from the things you really like then you are never gona experience those things.

When we were children doing things was almost automatic.... Whatever came through our minds, we just did. There was nothing holding us back, unless someone shouted to us or held us physically form doing soo. But most of the times even when someone hold us back we would still fight for that thing or do it again when they stopped holding us back.

Just a baby's nature.... Free and driven... There was nothing to fear about, we just lived. Like the fear of what others would think about you when you did something or what if you get rejected. We just went on to play with other kids, touch or eat anything that we wanted to!

But, when we grow up, we have been receiving a lot of dont do that and dont touch that from our parents especially, and then a lot other people have opinions about the things you do, that makes you think twice before you do something again. This keeps us away from some importart or little things that we can do to enjoy or live life with fulfilment!

There's is nothing good as doing that one thing you wish to do. If you wanted to attend a party and you know your mum would always say no as usual.... So, would you have guts to sit her down, explain to her and convince her? And if she never says yes..... Do you have those guts to sneak out of the house and actually go to that party?

If you were giving a presentation to your class or teachers or lecturers, do you have those guts to look them in the eyes and hit them with whatever you got, and face their good comments or critisism?

Do you have the guts to tell a friend or someone that you don't like what they said to you or how they treated you?

Do you have the guts to say no when you dont feel like it? If someone a friend or a boss abuses you by sending you around, do you have the guts to tell them that they can do whatever on their own?

Do you have the guts to say no, when someone forces you to do something you dont want. Do you have the guts to say no to SEX if you are not ready for it? Do you have the guts to say no to a man you dont like?

Do you have the guts to go sit next to that girl or boy you have always admired and wanted to be friends with?

Why dont you try out something completely new? Try doing something you wouldn't usually do out of fear. Try something exactly different. Put on that dress you have always wanted to put on, but worried what your friends would say.

Say 'HI' to the stranger next to you and start a conversation. Tell your friend, that you really dont feel like doing what they are suggesting. Break curfew one of the days, not that you should over do it. Only if you have a valid reason to.

Next time if there is something that you want to do, but are afraid to to it, dare yourself, stand up and get yourself to doing that thing. You will find out afterwards that it wasn't really something you needed to fear about.

The joy of knowin that you have done something that you thought you couldnt do is awesome. The reward too could be greater! Soo many good things can come out of that one step you took!
Guts free us. It takes out our inner being to the outside. It helps us live and not just exist. When we are expressed, we feel liberated and human again!

There is nothing bad as feeling bounded and limited, but guts can help us free our selves. We get to say and do what we feel deep inside, and live freely. Guts can help you succeed in life too! With guts you can prosper!

Have a fantastic and blessed weekend!

What was up & whats up now? Is the question......

Noooo, nooo, nooo...... My blog has become way too boring..... Haven't I got
anything interesting to talk about? Mmmmmh.....(sigh)....

Weekend is almost over. What did you do during your weekend? Partied up a storm at a club, house part or went wth your galfriends/boyfriends shopping, stayed at home and read your favourite magazine novels, studied or slept the whole weekend..... Lol! We all had things to do this weekend, even if we did different things.

I personal didnt go out as this was suppose to be my studying weekend (not that I had done much though I confess). I watched some some movies with a galfriend, loads of facebook as usual. What really touched me was the movie 'The Last Song'. I got a thing for music, you know..... This girl in the movie had a passion for music and wanted to to enroll in a ballet school, but concerning her background and other challenges she had to try again and again for her to finaly get in the school.

This movie just taught me about perseverence and hardwork. Now sometimes we get to stages were we are not inspired, but when you get your inspiration, dont hesitate. And to believe in our potentials is the biggest thing and you are not gonna meet everyone who's gonna inspire or encourage you. Some people may try to break you. But if you really know what it is that you want in your heart, you will make it.

Well, something that also came across me this weekend was......... One of our own (Namibian) young upcoming artist, by the nameof RU, has a couple of songs on a website. I checke dthe out and my favourites so far are "I am a million dollar chick' and 'Exboyfriend'. You can actually check them out yourself and enjoy them on this site (http://soundcloud.com/ru-cutegeek/million-dolla-chick-by-ru ).

And, ooooh...... Guess what? One of her songs is actually nominated for the Namibian Music Awards. The funky 'I am Million Dollar Chick' is nominated for 'The Best Single' category at the Namibian Music Awards. She says that to vote for her song you can sms BSI3 to 66262.

Now this girl seems to be determined to capture the Namibia music atmosphere by storm. So don't forget to get a piece of her on the above mentioned webpage and see what she is all about. Well, she also has an artistic profile on facebook named RU or you can try her personal page Ru Cute Geek.

Another of my favourite namibian artist is Lil-d.... I am seeing a lot of him these days...on facebook ofcourse.... i think he's released or he is about to release some new materials...... So watch out for him as well.... Am not that much acquinted as to whats going on with a lot other Namibian artists, but keep your ears open and check them out as they appear with new items!

My favourite quote for the week ahead:
"Be a strong women, don't be afraid of the flack that goes along withit." Christina Aguilera

Blessed weak ahead,
